The Climate Question
Now Showing at Glen Helen's Atrium Gallery
JUNE 1 - AUGUST 31
On Earth Day 2017, we left Pittsburgh, PA to travel by bike to Washington D.C. for the Climate March. On our week and a half long trip, we cycled through the cold, the rain, the mud, and the heat…all the while pulling our two year old daughter. This collection explores the beautiful scenery as well as the psychological experience of climbing up a mountain on two wheels in the most unpredictable weather. We experienced sleeping in a tent as the temperature dropped below 40 degrees as well as marching in D.C. on a record-breaking hot day. We were inspired to make this trek by our desire to spread Climate Awareness and to encourage others to get out in nature, to care about it and to take care of it.
